The Giant Tingle Tree of Walpole is one of my favourite paintings. Inspired by the magnificent Giant Tingle Tree in Walpole, Western Australia, this artwork celebrates the awe and wonder of standing beneath one of nature's true giants. Featuring a young girl in front of this remarkable tree, the painting captures the feeling of adventure, curiosity and our connection with the natural world.
Surrounded by ancient tingle and karri forests, Walpole is home to some of the most spectacular trees in Australia. More than 400 years old, the Giant Tingle Tree is one of the largest living trees in the world by circumference, with a hollow trunk large enough for visitors to stand inside. It is a truly unforgettable destination and a place that continues to inspire my artwork.
